Marcus Lynn
Senior Pastor
Marcus is the Senior Minister and has been at FCC since 2002. Marcus' personal mission statement is "to lead others to begin or grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church." He is married to Jennifer and has 3 children, Reagan, Micah, and Aidan.
Shirley Young
Office Administrator
Shirley Young joined our staff in 2025 after returning to central Kentucky. She enjoys sewing, baking, and also taking walks with her husband. You will find her in the Church Office Monday through Friday 8am to Noon.
Noah Durbin
Director of Youth Ministry
Noah has been serving at our church since 2022. He is a graduate of St. Louis Christian College with a degree in Christian Ministry. He is currently working on his Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary. During his free time, Noah enjoys watching movies, disc golf, and officiating football and baseball.
Gay Kelly
Director of Children’s Ministries
Joining the team this year, Gay is passionate about helping kids discover God’s love in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways. With a heart for discipleship and a deep commitment to partnering with families, Gay leads our children’s ministry with creativity, care, and Christ-centered purpose.
Gay creates a safe, joyful environment where kids feel known, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith. From Sunday school and Children’s Church to special events and summer programs, Gay works closely with a dedicated team of volunteers to make every experience memorable and rooted in biblical truth. Gay loves seeing children take their first steps in faith and believes that building a foundation in Christ at an early age can impact a lifetime.
Outside of church, she enjoys gardening, coffee shops, time with family, and reading. She has one daughter who lives in Nashville, TN.
Bob Tankersley
Director of Discipleship/Evangelism
Bob has served as our Director of Discipleship/Evangelism since 2018. He and his wife, Sharon, have been members of FCC since 2011.
Barbara Hartsell
Choir Director
Barbara is the music director for the traditional service at First Christian Church in Versailles. She directs the vocal choir and the bell choir, which she started in 2010. She has a degree in English from Blue Mountain College and a vocal music degree from Mississippi College. She enjoys playing piano, sewing, cooking, walking, and playing with her grandchildren in her spare time.
Greg Marsee
Praise Band Director
Greg Marsee has been the guitarist and contemporary music leader since 2007. He is also the orchestra director for Woodford County Schools. He has been a member at FCC since 2005 with his wife Karen. Together they have 2 beautiful daughters: Madeline and Lilian.
